2024 Review

While 2024 has been a quieter year for T.E than we hoped for, an exciting focus has been the monthly Climate Cafe with Eco Church in The Old School Room in Peaslake.

With events ranging from inspiring short films, guest speakers and community events, we see the cafe bringing people together in purpose and action.

We have covered topics from enhancing biodiversity in our gardens and public spaces to achieving Net Zero (and positive impact investing), behavioural change, recycling, sustainable farming, and a second successful local biodiversity survey.. to name just some!

Held mostly on the first Sunday of the month, the Climate Cafe is welcoming to all and has seen many returning as well as new faces. It is always very informal and tends to include a chance for group discussion - where all views are welcome and shared with respect.

For our last event of a successful first year of the Climate Cafe, we welcome you to come to our Christmas themed evening of Sunday 8th December.

Mince pies, teas (and wine), optional fun activities, meet friends
