2030 : A Call To Action

Tillingbourne.Earth is excited to be part of the South East Climate Action (SECA) Annual Gathering 2025, taking place in Guildford this Saturday, 1st February!
This inspiring event will bring together local environmental groups, activists, and passionate individuals like you to discuss and develop a vision for a more sustainable future.
Your ideas & energy are needed!
With discussions, displays, and workshops spread across Zero Carbon Guildford and Holy Trinity Church, there are activities for everyone to participate in and make a difference!
Family’s very welcome & coming for just part of the day is fine!
The theme, 2030: A Call To Action, will focus on the progress being made locally, and steps still needed to achieve key targets for reducing carbon emissions and reversing biodiversity loss.

Tillingbourne.Earth will have a display showcasing environmental action in the Tillingbourne Valley, including our Climate Café, some of the local environmental initiatives we are proudly supporting, and insights in to quieter conversations driving change in our community.
What to Expect
Speakers: Hear from Pippa Heylings MP, Sara Osman (South Downs National Park), Ben McCallan (Zero), and an inspiring youth activist.
Workshops: Join a youth-led session on communicating climate messages or explore the circular economy.
Breakout Groups: Share your thoughts on local environmental issues, with your input shaping future priorities.
Meet local Environment Action Groups!
Provisional Timetable
11:30: Zero Carbon Guildford - networking, and meet local groups.
1:00–2:30: Speaker Forum at Holy Trinity Church.
2:30–4:30: Breakout groups and workshops.
4:30–5:30: Closing plenary at Holy Trinity Church.
Tickets are £5 (covering costs) and free for under-25s
