The film acts as a "witness statement", through which Attenborough shares first-hand his concern for the current state of the planet due to humanity’s impact on nature and his hopes for the future.

Community Climate Action for Everyone

We very much hope that you, your family & friends will wish to come along to the first ever Eco Weekend at St James’ Church, Shere!

We are sure that there is something for everyone - from the Free Green Cinema on the Saturday evening (ticket link above), to the inspiring series of short talks, environmental group stalls, and the Eco Kids Zone!

Enjoy and take part in the Swap Stall (bring & take) - sharing home produce and pre-loved clothing - with no exchange of money. You will be contributing whether you bring, bring and take, or just wish to leave with a few useful things... Sustainability through re-use, and reducing all our living costs are the aim!

The cafe will offer refreshments with the chance to chat over delicious cakes and tea, meet like-minded people and find ways to get involved with local environmental action.

Whether you are keen to get out and about to help practically, or are able to support with spare time here and there - please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!

We meet regularly in person where new people are warmly welcomed, and also collaborate in smaller working groups and on our own.

There is no commitment to any time and you can dip in and out as life allows.
